Open Day - August 17 through 18

It’s that time again! On August 17 and 18, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the German-Canadian Air Force Museum invites you to its Open House. This year, we are celebrating our 25th anniversary and have prepared a special program for the whole family.
Look forward to a weekend full of highlights:
- Live Music: Enjoy performances by various bands and artists.
- Food and Drinks: Savor delicious grilled food and a wide selection of cakes. We also offer ice cream and draft beer.
- Children's Activities: For our younger guests, there will be face painting and a bouncy castle.
- Special Exhibitions: Experience an impressive fire truck display, a model building exhibition, as well as military jeeps and tents.
- Flight Simulator: Immerse yourself in the world of aviation with our flight simulator and VR headset.
- Regular Exhibition: Discover the fascinating history of the Canadian occupation at the former Canadian Forces Base Baden-Soellingen, marvel at aircraft from the Canadian and German air forces, and visit our historic bunker.
